The LNWR Society On-Line Forum

An on-line forum exists for Society Members. The forum is fully moderated and there are currently three moderators so delays to messages are kept to a minimum, but please bear in mind that moderators are not logged in continuously, 24 hours a day.

The volume of traffic on the forum is now so high that it isn't possible to provide a summary on this web page and so this facility has been discontinued. Instead tips are provided below, for registered Forum members, to enable them to see the same information that was previously provided in the summary on this page.

So, in order to get the best from the Forum, Society Members should register (see below for details).

Registration enables a member to login to the Forum. This allows a Forum member to:

• post replies
• view images submitted with messages
• see which messages have not been answered
• view active topics
• view unread posts
• view new posts
• view your own posts

Before logging out, assuming that you have read all that you wish to read, it's a good idea to click on the Mark Forums Read link, so that next time you login you can then click on the View New Posts link to see just the new messages.
