5.—Night Duty (Clause 6 of Agreement).

The concession of a night off in ten applies to all men who work consecutively on night duty for ten nights.

6.—Procedure for dealing with applications, for revision of Classification (Clause 16 of Agreement).

The following additional paragraph (e) to Clause 16 of the Agreement will operate forthwith :—

“The Committee of Departmental Officers referred to in Clause (c) shall not make an adverse report on any case until the applicant has been given an opportunity of appearing before them in support of his case, as provided for in Clause (d).”

7.—Clerks detained on Military Service.

Clerks who have returned to the Railways from Military Service between August 1st, 1919, and March 1st, 1920, should be given credit under the settlement as from August 1st, 1919. For examples, see Appendix “A.”
