MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

IN REGARD TO RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE OF STATION MASTERS, GOODS AGENTS, YARD MASTERS, ASSISTANT STATION MASTERS, ASSISTANT GOODS AGENTS, ASSISTANT YARD MASTERS, AND PASSENGER AND PARCEL AGENTS.


It is agreed that each member of the above grades, employed by all Controlled Railways of England, Scotland and Wales, shall, for the purpose of fixing the new rate of salary, be allocated by the employing Company to one or other of the undermentioned classes, and be paid on the scale of salary applicable to the class in which he is placed.

The above salaries to be increased by £10 to all men of the above grades who work at Depots and Stations in London. For this purpose London shall be considered as embracing all Depots and Stations within a radius of 10 miles from Charing Cross. (For examples see Appendix “C.”)

In introducing the above scales, men to go to their scale rate according to the time they have been employed in a particular class or position. (For examples see Appendix “B.”)
