→ performed by salaried clerks, shall, at the option of the individual Company, either be placed on the salaried staff, or be given a weekly wage equivalent to the scales of salary specified in Clause 1 of the Agreement, according to the classification of the post, and in other respects be given the benefits of this settlement.

(c) The adoption of the proposals set out in Clauses (a) and (b) shall be without prejudice to the question of admission to or exclusion from the Superannuation Funds of the respective Companies.

(d) For the purpose of assessing floating War Bonus, wages clerks who have had shop conditions, including the 12½ per cent. War Bonus, shall be regarded as having been in receipt of the equivalent of £90 per annum War Bonus on August 1st, 1919.

The scales or weekly rates of pay for men of the Wages grades known as “Unappointed Clerks” and transferred to the clerical ranks will be as under: –
