Cost

Number of print copies reaching members and reviewers: 630 +

The sizes given represent the maximum extent that any printed part of the advert, including any borders, can occupy.

Conditions

The following are the conditions under which the Editor would be prepared to accept advertising:

1. Same conditions as commercial magazines impose in regard to decent, legal, true etc.
2. Payment must accompany the advert proof; cheques payable to:
           The London & North Western Railway Society
3. The Editor reserves the right to refuse an advertisement and refund the money.
4. Appearance of an advert in a particular issue cannot be guaranteed, but a delay would be no more than one issue. Specific position of the advert within an edition is not negotiable.
5. Proof copy of the advert must be with the Editor two weeks before the closing date of the issue.

6. The advert can completely fill the area specified above i.e. an enclosing border of that size can be used. If artwork is not up to the standard of the rest of the newsletter, the Editor may re-work the material and send it back to the owner for approval. If this is likely to be the case, extra time should be allowed prior to the latest submission date.
7. Advert proof on white paper (gloss or matt) must be submitted printed to exact size. Output from manual typewriters or dot-matrix printers will not be accepted as final proof copy (see 6 above). Material will be accepted on PC-compatible floppy disk or CD (which will be returned, eventually) in the format of most ‘mainstream’ Word Processing packages. Please enquire before submission in this media as to the most appropriate format.
