Royal Train en route at Queen’s Park

In Journal Vol.3 No.3 Carey Aubertin described the Royal visit to Crewe works in 1913 and noted that the LNWR commissioned H. Gordon Tidey to photograph the Royal Train en route at Queen’s Park.

Ted Talbot kindly supplied these two further photographs of the same train, presumably on the same day. Though the identity of the photographers is not recorded they may well have been amateurs as neither shot is very sharp.
