Abergavenny Junction

Ivatt tank No.41202

Ivatt tank No.41202 stands at Abergavenny Junction in 1948, with the ex-LNWR carriage sheds behind. The shed was built by the LNWR after the First War, and could hold five 57ft carriages on each of its roads.

Others reminders of the LNWR are some of the goods brake vans to the left of the picture. The double ended examples are not of LNWR origin, but the others are.
