An official side view of ‘19in Goods’ No.285, painted in photographic grey and fully lined out. Grey was used to avoid any reflections. Official photos were taken in Crewe Works   alongside a wall hung with white canvass. Note there is a capuchon  — a small raised lip — at the front of the chimney.
