‘E’ class 2-8-0 No.2563 hauls its train
steadily through Rugby, passing under the bridge carrying the Great
Central Railway over the LNW main line, now the West Coast Main Line
(WCML). Regretfully the GCR line has gone but is under consideration
for re-opening. If so, it might move a few lorries off the roads.
