‘Special Tank’ 0-6-0

On 16^th March 1918 a ‘Special Tank’ escaped at Bolton and tried to hide in the cellars of 85–87 Crook Street. Here it is recalcitrantly being hauled back into daylight. Maybe the earth really did move for any young couples in the bedrooms above. Fortunately the driver  and fireman  were not seriously injured.
