‘Coal Tank’ No.1118 rests at Wolverhampton,
displaying all the standard features of Mr. Webb’s
‘simple’ expansion engines. Note the lamp below the
chimney has a peg at its base that fits into square sockets
on the engine. You couldn’t just put an LNW lamp down —
it would fall over! The enginemen have forgotten to close the lid of
their toolbox (on the bunker ).
