No.1884 is an 0-4-2 built in 1853 by Mr. Fairbairn Explain 'Fairbairn, Sir William (1789—1874)'. It has no cab, only a weather board Explain 'Weather Board', and marine-type ends to the connecting rods Explain 'Connecting Rod'. The smokebox Explain 'Smoke Box' front is still the Ramsbottom sloping-front type but the chimney Explain 'Chimney' is the Webb design.
