- Y-Points
- Generally points have a straight path, and an alternative route that diverges to the left or right. Y-Points do not have a straight route, but diverge to the left and right. Technically termed “points of contrary flexure” which diverge in opposite directions (as opposed to “points of similar flexure” where both roads are curved so as to diverge in the same direction at different radii).
