Three diners numbered 196-198 were built to D030 in 1895; they were the first 65ft 6in clerestory Explain 'Clerestory Roof' roofed diners, were of the ‘end-kitchen’ Explain 'End Kitchen Carriage' arrangement and seated 20 first class Explain 'First Class' passengers. They were converted to open composites Explain 'Composite' under the LMS in, or about, 1927.
