Six of these full brakes were built for the “American Specials” Explain 'American Special (1)' in 1907/08. Though on four-wheel bogies Explain 'Bogie' (the passenger-carrying carriages had six-wheel bogies) the style of the panelling was identical and the doors were similarly recessed in the sides.
