This old 4-wheel survivor was a composite Explain 'Composite' which ended its days on the Mawddy Railway, near Machynlleth in Mid-Wales. It is narrow, low-roofed, with even smaller windows for second class Explain 'Second Class' (those at the left are boarded over). No brakes. The axle boxes read ‘Crewe Works 1853’. Iron scrolls on the end of the roof.
